چکیده مقاله:

Purpose: One of the most famous methods in the world to identify cancer cells and tumors in thehuman body is the biopsy or sampling method under CT scan guidance, in which a large needleis used to penetrate the body and remove part of the tumor tissue. This work is often done manually, which is often associated with many errors and repetitions until reaching the goal, due tothe inability of the hand and eye to determine the angle of penetration and the amount of effectivepenetration. In this method, we are trying to mechanize and increase the accuracy of this methodby using a smart biopsy assistantMethods: In this paper, an artificial intelligence software and a mechanical robot are used, whichaccurately determines the location of the biopsy needle, the angle of entry, and the degree of penetrationof the needle into the patient’s body, and then the mechanical robot receives these dataand Deliver the biopsy needle to the desired tumor center according to the received algorithm. Results: In the obtained results, it was found that only one precise and determined penetrationof the biopsy needle angle using calculations and the guidance of the smart biopsy assistant isenough to be able to perform the sampling and dozens of times of radiation and tens of times ofwrong penetration of the biopsy needle are avoided. Using the smart biopsy assistant is very accurate, fast, convenient and less expensive than the manual methodConclusion: The results showed that performing a biopsy using a smart biopsy assistant cancause accurate sampling and reduce the dose received by the patient with just one needle penetrationin the body.
