Green synthesis is an environmentally friendly method to produce nanoparticles. Green synthesis method is becoming more popular in technologies and the need for ecological methods of synthesis with aim of reducing polluting reactions is increasing. Numerous plants are used for this aim. In this present study, Silicon dioxide nanoparticles are successfully synthesized using carrot extract. And the effect of two different silicon concentrations on the property of nanoparticles is investigated. The FE-SEM images of nanoparticles of both samples reveal the spherical shape but with different distrbutions. The obtained results have revealed that the property of distribution and size of silica nanoparticles change as silica concentration changes. More concentration of silicon solution results in bigger nanoparticles. The EDS analysis shows the presence of Si and O in both samples.
