چکیده مقاله:
This study reviewed an integrated approach to using high-gravity (HiGee) technology to control multiple air pollutants in flue gas. These pollutants include sulfur oxides (SOx), nitrogen oxides (NOx), volatile organic compounds (VOC), and particulate matter (PM), as well as greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide (CO۲). These substances can have harmful effects on both the environment and human health. As a result, it is important to monitor and control their levels in the atmosphere and take measures to reduce their emissions and impacts. However, removing air pollutants can be challenging due to kinetic limitations, high capital costs, low selectivity and poor energy efficiency. To overcome these challenges, process intensification strategies are needed for equipment, material and process development. One promising technology that has emerged in recent years is HiGee technology. High-gravity technology is implemented in a rotating packed bed (RPB) and offers several advantages over traditional air pollution control methods. It has high mass transfer efficiency, energy-saving properties and a smaller volume. This results in higher efficiency for removing toxic gases and can significantly reduce investment and operating costs. The use of high-gravity technology can greatly improve the efficiency of end-of-pipe air pollution control.
