چکیده مقاله:
In this paper, Ag–AgO/Ga۲O۳ nanocom-posite was synthesized through a two-step& novelmethod including hydrothermal manner inorder to obtain Ag–GaO(OH) and afterwards annealing at ۸۶۰ °C for ۲h. AgNO۳and ethylenediamine, were used as thenew series of cheap beginning reagents. The obtained nano-structures were characterized by techniques such as XRD,SEM, EDX, and FTIR. Moreover, the efficiency ofAg–AgO/Ga۲O۳ nanocomposite as a photocatalyst for thedecolorization of methylene blue using ultraviolet lightirradiation was evaluated. Afterwards, for the first time, theeffect of Ag to Ga۲O۳ ratio on the photocatalytic activitywas investigated.
