چکیده مقاله:
Based on WHO ۲۰۱۹ Global Maternal Health Report, Iran had been among the Countries which was on Track toward reducing Maternal Mortality in ۲۰۳۰.During Covid Pandemic Situation, it became clear that no achievement could be taken for granted and for keeping on track, more sophisticated approaches are needed. From Almost ۲۲ years ago National Maternal Mortality Surveillance system became operational in IRI and in the last ۵ years the electronic version became operable and from ۲ years ago, Severe Maternal morbidity surveillance system was added to the same platform, and for at least ۱۶ Years, National Maternal health guidelines are published, for Both Outpatient and Inpatient sectors. At first the main counterparts in these programs, were Ob/Gyns and Primary Health care experts from medical Universities and Gradually other specialists/ Subspecialists including Neonatologist, Internists, Pediatrician, Anesthesiologist, Cardiologis, Radiologists, were invited in a Multi-Disciplinary approach for Maternal Health Programming at national and subnational levels.
