Investigating the Relationship between Resilience and Professional Confidence in Nurses caring for Patients with Covid-۱۹

Introduction :The nursing profession plays a key role in controlling the corona pandemic. Professional confidence as an important principle in nursing can affect all aspects of health care, including the relationship with the patient and colleagues. on the other hand, resilience leads to bio-psychological balance and improves the professional performance of nurses in stressful situations. . The aim of this study was to determine the Relationship between Resilience and Professional Confidence in Nurses caring for People with Covid-۱۹Method: This study is a cross-sectional descriptive study that was performed in three hospitals in Mashhad in ۱۳۰۰-۱۴۰۰ for patients with Covid-۱۹ (Ghaem (AS), Imam Reza (AS) and Shariati hospitals) as a sampling environment. Has been. The sample size is ۲۵۰ nurses. Sampling was done by simple random method. The questionnaire used included demographic information, resilience and professional confidence questionnaire that was presented to the nurses of the departments involved in coronavirus and were collected and completed. Data were tested by SPSS.V۲۵ software.Findings: The mean scores of professional confidence and resilience of ۲۵۰ nurses participating in this study were ۱۳۲.۵۴ ۲۹ ۲۹.۶۸ and ۶۹.۷۹ ۱۳ ۱۳.۸۲, respectively. Also, a significant relationship was observed between professional confidence and resilience as a result of Spearman test. (P: ۰.۰۰۰ r: ۰.۲۶۱)Conclusion: According to the results of the present study, a direct relationship was observed between professional trust and resilience. Therefore, in order to increase nurses 'professional trust, it is recommended that policy makers and nursing managers design and implement interventions to increase nurses' resilience in Covid-۱۹ conditions.
