چکیده مقاله:

The free radical copolymerization of unsaturated polyester resin and styrene monomer create a three dimensional network and provide an excellent mechanical and physical properties for cured unsaturated polyester (UP) products. This cross-linking copolymerization cause to create about (۷-۱۰%) shrinkage. The morphology changing during cure and phase separation, thermal expansion and micro void formation, plays major role of LPAs which provide ability to eliminate shrinkage. In this study The Effect of nano clay on Morphology for high temperature cure of low Profile Unsaturated Polyester Resin is investigated. The SEM ere used to study the morphology of cured samples of low profile unsaturated polyester (UP) resin. This study shows that the larger number and domain of LPA-rich dispersed phase in St/UP/PMMA/۲۰A resin system makes more micro voids compared to the system without ۲۰A and lead to a better shrinkage control.
