چکیده مقاله:

Different motion tracking devices have recently improved traditional posture monitoring techniques, but they cannot currently be used to directly track a subject's body's spatial position due to technical limitations. To describe and perform a clinical evaluation of a wireless mobile inertial measurement unit system for tracking changes in body posture. The created system output location data utilizing a calculus transformation approach employing acceleration data that had been adjusted by Butterworth and Kalman filters. To assess the consistency between the confidence ellipse areas synchronously measured by the new developed system and a classical posture monitoring system while performing a modified clinical test of sensory interaction in balance, a prospective non-randomized clinical study involving subjects was conducted.
