Synthesis of SBA-۱۵/Dithiooxamide as a Novel and EfficientNano-Composite to Nickel (ll) Ions Removal in the Water Sample

In this research, the surface of SBA-۱۵ Silicate mesoporous has been modified by sodium dodecylsulfate and Dithiooxamide ligand. The modified Nano-composite was assessed as a potent adsorbentfor remove the Ni (II) ions from the industrial wastewater samples. To determine the Nano-compositespecifications, which use the transmission electron microscope, and to exact determination of Nanoparticlessize, BET surface area analysis is used to determine the effective surface of the adsorbent.Moreover, the analysis of CHNS and TGA affirms the presence of Dithiooxamide ligand on SBA-۱۵mesoporous. It is used the atomic flame absorption spectrometer to assess the measure of Ni (II) ion insolution. Efficient parameters on removing the Ni (II) ions, such as pH, adsorbent dosage and contacttime in the temperature range (۲۵, ۳۵ and ۴۵℃), were optimized at different temperatures. The optimalrange of pH, adsorbent amount, and contact time was ۱۰, ۰.۰۰۵ g and ۱۲۰ min, respectively. Theadsorption process followed the pseudo-second-order kinetics equation. The balanced data exhibitedthat the Freundlich model had a high correlation coefficient and exhibited better results concerning tothe Langmuir model. Also, thermodynamics studies on Gibbs’ free energy and enthalpy of the adsorptionprocess showed that Nickel (II) ion adsorption performed spontaneously and Endothermic with SBA-۱۵/Dithiooxamide composite.
