چکیده مقاله:
In this paper, a finite element code is developed for discretization of functionally graded piezoelectric material (FGPM) beams based on the first order shear deformation beam theory and a linear constitutive relation for the corresponding piezoelectric material behavior. Results obtained using the developed FE code for bending behavior analysis of FGPM structures show good agreement with the available experimental and numerical results for structures with graded properties as well as results for flexural behavior of smart beams.
