چکیده مقاله:
This paper focuses on converting a vehicle turbocharger into a low cost micro Gas-Turbine with respect to the requirements of a SOFC hybrid system. A proper combustion chamber is designed and assembled with the turbocharger as the main parts. The fuel injection system, lube oil cooling system and instrumentations were fabricated using some simple ideas. Experiments were conducted and the behaviors of the manufactured micro-Gas-Turbine are investigated. The outcome of this research shows that the fabricated micro gas-turbine remains operational for a relatively wide range of flow rates. The measurements reveal that the micro gas-turbine is able to pressurize a SOFC and also well coupled with it.
