چکیده مقاله:

Hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) is a type of mental and physical sexual dysfunction in which women lack motivation or lose desire to have sex for an extended period of time (at least ۶ months), causing significant levels of personal distress. Hypoactive sexual desire disorder affects about ۱۰% of women across all age groups. Men can also be affected by low sexual desire. Symptoms of HSDD include decreased spontaneous sexual thoughts or fantasies, decreased responsiveness to stimulation, inability to maintain interest through sex, and loss of desire to initiate sex. Women with HSDD may also avoid situations that could lead to sexual activity. Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder - also called HSDD - is when you're not interested in sex (have no sex drive or a low sex drive), and it bothers you. It's one of the most common sexual problems that people have. This could be a lifelong concern, or it can happen over time. Clinical trial randomized study with ۱۰۶ women diagnosed with HSDD, who were divided as follows: Group ۱ (n = ۵۳) underwent group CBT for ۸-weeks, and Group ۲ (n = ۵۳), were put on a waiting list and used as a control group. Sexual function was assessed by the Female Sexual Quotient (FSQQ) at the initial interview and after ۶-months. Mann Whitney test was used for group comparison. Main Outcome Measures: demographics, education, sexual history, FSQQ and its domains for sexual function assessment. Both groups had similar characteristics regarding sexual response, self-image, and relationship with a partner at the initial interview. Women undergoing therapy showed significant improvement in sexual function when compared with the control group. The overall FSQQ result showed an average growth of ۱۸.۰۸ points (۹۵%CI ۱۲.۸۷-۲۳.۲۸) for the therapy group against a decrease of ۰.۸۳ points (۹۵% CI ۳.۴۳-۱.۷۷) for controls (p < ۰.۰۰۱). The five domains of the questionnaire also exhibited significant improvement in the therapy group: desire and interest (p = ۰.۰۰۳), foreplay (p = ۰.۰۰۳), excitation and tuning (p < ۰.۰۰۱), comfort (p < ۰.۰۰۱), and orgasm and satisfaction (p < ۰.۰۰۱). Group CBT was shown to be an effective tool for treating HSDD.
