Geochemical evidences to determine the original mineralogy of Cretaceous deposits in the Zefreh section (Northeast of Isfahan)

چکیده مقاله:
The Cretaceouse deposites in the Zefreh section is located in Northeast of Isfahan city, Iran. Yet, Geochemical studies is not done in the Cretaceouse deposites of studied section, to determined original opened diagenetic system, more dissolution and reprecipitation of low Mg Calcite. High Mn amounts and low Sr/Ca ratios in Cretaceouse deposites of studied section indicate effect of non-marine digenesis in the opened diagenetic system on the samples. The variations characteresting. Low Sr/Mn ratio might indicate WRI and opened diagenetic system in the Zefreh section. O and C isotope variations suggest diagenetic alteration occurred in a non-marine barial setting. Decreasing in the O of Fe and Mn versus Sr content indicate extensive mineralogy and diagenetic process. This study attempts to examine geochemical values of the studied samples is due to effect of barial diagenesis. Also, on the contact of lower and upper Cretaceouse deposition be seen decreasing of O and C values and increasing of trace elements amounts.
