چکیده مقاله:
Introduction and objective: The gut microbiota consists of a wide range of gut microorganisms. A change in the composition of the gut microbiota with the activation of immune cells causes dysfunction of the blood-brain barrier and neuroinflammatory diseases, such as multiple sclerosis (MS).Materials and methods: We first searched for the topic in reputable scientific databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Science Direct according to the keywords in the article which contained: Gut Microbiota, Multiple Sclerosis, and Brain-Gut Axis. Then, we collected and listed the most important articles based on the relevance of our topic, and after studying, We wrote them in order of importance and relevance in our articleResult: patients with MS have microbiota with higher amounts of Pedobacteria, Flavobacterium, Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter, Dorea, Streptococcus, and Akkermansia. and microbiota with a poor microbial population of Prevotella, Bacteroides, Parabacteroides, Haemophilus, Sutterella, Coprobacillus, Clostridium, and Faecalibacterium.Conclusion: The gut microbiota has an important role in the pathogenesis of MS. Revival of the microbial population in patients with MS causes reduce inflammation.
