employees of Ilam University of Medical Sciences. Methods: This study was conducted in a mixed (descriptive-semi-experimental) manner. In the first stage, in order to assess needs, Walker's health promoting lifestyle questionnaire was provided to ۲۲۱
employees of Ilam University of Medical Sciences. Then, based on the effective structures, a training package was designed to improve the
physical activity of the employees. The educational intervention phase was carried out with the participation of ۶۰
employees of Ilam University of Medical Sciences who obtained the lowest score from the
physical activity dimension, and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) was provided to the participants before and after the educational intervention. In the intervention phase, four theoretical and practical training sessions, two weeks of morning exercise program, holding sports competitions and installing posters of sports movements at the workplace were conducted in the university. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and appropriate statistical tests using SPSS ۲۲ at a significance level of ۰.۰۵.Results: In the descriptive study, the average score of the participants' health-promoting behaviors was ۱۳۸.۲۲±۹۳.۹۶. Among the health-promoting lifestyle dimensions, the
physical activity dimension was identified as the most important predictor of health-promoting behaviors. physical activity item. (p=۰.۰۴۰), (p=۰.۰۲۹). Also, the average total
physical activity increased after the educational intervention compared to before the intervention and the statistical test showed a significant difference (p<۰.۰۱۶).Conclusion: The results showed that educational interventions that are a combination of educational methods can increase
physical activity in employees. According to the results of the study; The training program designed based on the
intervention mapping model was able to improve the
physical activity of employees.
