In this research, hollow fiber membrane contactor (PSF) was synthesized by phaseseparation method. Hydrophobic silica SiO۲ nanoparticles were used to modify thesurface properties of the membranes. Also, diethylene glycol (DEG) was used as liquidabsorbent. The structure and performance of pure and modified membrane contactorwith different percentages of nanoparticles were investigated by SEM, gaspermeability, contact angle and liquid entry pressure tests. Also, in a gas-liquidmembrane contacting system, pure and modified membranes were used to dehumidifythe gas flow. They reported a positive trend in the performance of the membranes withthe increase in the percentage of nanoparticles. With the increase in the percentage ofnanoparticles, the contact angle increased from ۷۲ to ۱۳۰ degrees and the liquid inletpressure increased up to ۱۰ bar. Also, in the dehumidification test, the moistureabsorption flux finally reported its highest value with the increase in the percentage ofnanoparticles in the M-۴ membrane
