چکیده مقاله:

Nowadays, composite materials are emerging which are widely used in aerospace, automotive and marine industries. The transportation and automotive industry around the world has been growing rapidly in the last few decades, especially in urban areas. Current vehicles cause a lot of pollution due to their lower efficiency and heavy weight in the road transport sector. Therefore, the global automotive industry is shifting towards lightweight composite materials used to build vehicles. Composite materials are more popular in the automotive industry due to their light weight, long life, superior physical and mechanical properties (i.e. fatigue resistance), and they can be easily molded into any shape compared to traditional metals. In this research, a mechanism of using composite surface for the body of electric cars is presented which an alternative design solution is considering the problem of life cycle assessment to evaluate the environmental effects and compare the design solutions.
