چکیده مقاله:

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are mainly known to cause respiratory tractinfections in humans. The virus binds to angiotensin-converting enzyme ۲ (ACE۲) receptors on thesurface of host cells and can directly damage these organs and cause a wide range of clinicalconsequences. Since cell cycle disruption can affect the occurrence of many immune cell disorders;therefore, one of the goals of this research is to investigate changes in cell cycle gene expression(cyclin-D). One of the most efficient treatment strategies is the use of Remdesivir, an adenosinenucleotide prodrug that after entering the cells becomes the active form of the nucleosidetriphosphate. This drug has an inhibitory effect and can be one of the most promising drugs for thetreatment of this disease. Another goal of this study is to investigate the effects of Remdesivir on theexpression of the cell cycle gene (cyclin-D) in patients with covid-۱۹. For this purpose, ۳۰ bloodsamples of corona patients before and after treatment with Remdesivir and ۲۰ blood samples ofhealthy people were collected. After extracting RNA and synthesizing cDNA, we investigatedchanges in cyclin-D gene expression using the Real-time PCR technique. The results showed that inthe patient group, the expression of the cyclin-D gene increased ۸ times compared to the controlgroup (P<۰.۰۰۰). Also, in the treatment group, a ۱۲-fold increase in gene expression was observed, compared to the control group (P<۰.۰۰۰). While no significant difference was observed between thetwo groups of patients and treatment. Therefore, it can be concluded that the suvovanoroc, byaffecting the expression of cell cycle genes, can cause complications such as an increase in thenumber of white blood cells in patients. Remdesivir will also help to improve the patient's conditionby increasing the proliferation of immune cells.
