Unreinforced masonry is a kind of sustainable construction and has been on the top of worldwide residential buildingtechniques. The shear wall is the main structural element in such constructions, and different methods are proposed todesign a shear wall. The reliability level of the designed unreinforced masonry shear walls (URMW) has significantinfluence on safety and cost of construction. This study is concerned with reliability assessment of URMW. A briefhistory of studies on reliability of structural masonry is reviewed; the reliability of an unreinforced masonry shearwall, made of clay bricks, based on a full probabilistic analysis, according to EC۶ is assessed.In this regard, a limit state including uncertainty for both resistance and action part is established, and reliabilityindexes applying crude Monte Carlo method is evaluated. The result of reliability analysis, based on the availableprobabilistic information on material with uncertainty models for designed URMW has discussed in the article.
