Application of linear optimization methods forsolving the practical engineering problems

The repeated demand for engineers to reduce production costs to resist competition hasprompted engineers to pursue precise decision-making methods, such as engineeringoptimization methods for designing and manufacturing products considering botheconomically and efficiently. The main aim of the study presented in this paper was usingLingo software and linear optimization methods for solve and optimizing the practicalengineering problems. To achieve the purpose of this paper, an important practicalengineering problem was solved and optimized by using the Simplex method, Big Mmethod, Dual (secondary) problem method, Two stage method, and also for validationwas used a solver of excel and Lingo software. The sensitivity analysis (SA) of theengineering problem was carried out. As a result, using these methods, the same resultwas obtained. This indicates that all these methods are correct, and pursue one aim. Wecan use these methods for solving and optimization various engineering problems
