Statistical Investigation of Types of Well ZoningBased on the Petrophysical Properties of theReservoir

Zoning in hydrocarbon reservoirs in order to identify reservoir layers is one of the most important goals of exploration and development studies. In this study, an attempt was made to determine which charts are more suitable for zoning by using the data obtained from the available logs. In order to achieve the best choice, the raw data were converted into standard data that can be inserted into the software. Then the zoning diagrams of porosity, CGR, and PEF were drawn for each well using zoning instructions. By using GS+ and GEO WELL POWER software, the contiguity of the zones and their overall view were studied, respectively, and finally, layer matching and choosing the best method for zoning was done.
