effect of alloying elements of V and Nb on the fatigue response of thermite welding

thermite welding of the thermal-chemical welding used in railway industries to join the rails in the present work the effects of Vand Nb on the fatigue behavior of thermite were studied the results showthat adding the V and Nb even at very low levels can significantly improve the mechanical properties of thermite -welding the effect of heat treatment after welding as well as the effect of induced microstructure on the fatigue response of thermite welding was investigated.
