چکیده مقاله:

The supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system provides the ability to collect informationof large-scale processes and supervise the control operations for computerized automated systems inpower transmission application. Recently, SCADA system has applied for artificial intelligence includingmachine learning or deep learning to process data and carry out automatically control decisions. However,due to the level of connectivity these devices possess, any intruder who succeeds in gaining access will begranted that same authority over the user’s network. Stronger lightweight cryptography is one of manysolutions proposed. In this paper, we study the performance of lightweight block ciphers under roundorder randomization for SCADA system. Particularly, we use a pseudo-random number generator torandomize the round order of key schedules in lightweight block ciphers, including, PICCOLO, TWINE,and CLEFIA. Our findings show that the randomization of round order can increase the security bycomplicating any chosen plain text attack with negligible affect to the execution time.
