Uncertainty(Gharar) in Cryptocurrency-based transactions: a study in Jurisprudence and Iran Legal System

Cryptocurrency accounts for a large volume of transactions today and it is predicted that this amount will increase in the future. However, transactions based on cryptocurrency are declared void and invalid due to the existence of Gharar. This research, by analyzing and studying the sources of jurisprudence and the legal system of Iran, argues that in order to recognize Gharar in transactions based on cryptocurrencies, a distinction must be made between cryptocurrencies.
