A high-risk pregnancy is a situationin which the life, health and comfort of the mother and the developing fetus are endangered as aresult of some conditions and factors. Approximately ۵۰۰,۰۰۰ of the ۴ million births that occur inthe United States each year are classified as high-risk pregnancies due to maternal and fetalcomplications. Methods: The data were extracted from the registered information of pregnancycomplications in the Iman system (maternal and birth system) of the Ministry of Health andanalyzed. Results: According to the findings in ۱۴۰۰, in the whole country, ۲۸,۰۹۹ cases ofhemorrhage, ۹,۳۶۱ cases of systemic infection, ۱,۱۳۷ cases of uterine rupture, and ۳۱,۴۶۱ cases ofpre-eclampsia were reported in Tabriz University, respectively, ۶۹۲ cases (۲.۴۶%), ۳۱ cases(۰.۳۳%), ۱۴ cases. (۱.۲۳%) and ۱۳۴۶ cases (۴.۲۷%) have happened. Conclusion: In order to reducethe complications of pregnancy, taking into account all physical, psychological and socialdimensions and as a result, planning for timely identification of couples who intend to get pregnant,to provide pre-pregnancy care and timely use of supplements, early identification of pregnantmothers to provide pregnancy services and check the quality of care in the health system.Designing a system for providing care services with the aim of measuring the quantity and qualityof the services provided, holding practical training workshops and holding scientific conferencesto update the information of service providers seems necessary in order to reduce pregnancycomplications
