چکیده مقاله:

Shirbad peak (Siahkhani) is located in the northeast of Iran at ۳۳۳۹ meters above sea level in the Binalud Mountains. This peak has the highest one in Khorasan Razavi, South Khorasan and North Khorasan provinces. Shirbad Rock Art Site (Nehel valley petroglyphs) is located at an altitude of ۲۹۳۰ meters above sea level with a geographical location (۳۶°۱۶'۳۵.۶"N ۵۹°۰۴'۲۷.۰"E) near the ridge of Binaloud Mountains in Khorasan Province. This petroglyph site is the highest recorded record of Rock Art in terms of height in Khorasan. These petroglyphs were discovered on October ۳۰, ۲۰۲۰, in an area of about ۸۸۰۰ square meters having various layouts, including a billy goat, panther, scorpion, a human holding a bow, a fox, and also a flower-like glyph and other abstract forms by Hamid Reza Shariati. The glyphs are formed sporadically in various regions in this area, mainly in the south and southeast. The site has not been nationally registered to be protected, and some of the petroglyphs have been fragmented due to erosion and can be seen on the ground.
