چکیده مقاله:

The plastic anisotropy ratio (R-value), also known as Lankford ratio, isdefined as the ratio of the strain in width direction (εw) to the strain inthickness direction (εt), which depends on the value of strain. Usually,R-value is measured in the uniform deformation range in tensile test, which necessitates the interruption of test and measurement of the εwand εt. However, in the cold worked materials with limited uniformelongation it is practically impossible to calculate the R-values. Thus,it is of some interest to assess the directionality of the tensileproperties based on the obtained values of ultimate tensile strength fortensile samples prepared in different directions. Accordingly, in thepresent work, a simple procedure was proposed for this purpose. Acold rolled AISI ۳۱۶L stainless steel was selected as an example forthese calculations. Both unidirectional rolling and cross rolling routeswere applied to investigate the directionality of the mechanicalbehavior. It was revealed that the proposed method is efficient for theevaluation of the directionality of tensile properties.
