Identifying and prioritizing indicators of heart diseases in children and adolescents

The purpose of this research is identifying and prioritizing the indicators of heart diseases in children and adolescents. The present research is applied and also exploratory. In this research, the indicators were identified by studying the library and research background, and then to confirm these indicators, a ۱۲-question questionnaire including these indicators was developed. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by experts and doctors, and in order to determine reliability, Cronbach's alpha was used, and its value was ۰.۷۸۵. The statistical population of this research included ۸۰ cardiac doctors and students in five heart hospitals in Tehran. The sample size was ۶۶ people and the sampling method was also available. In the following, a sample of these indicators was examined using the T- test, and finally, they were prioritized using Friedman's ranking method and using SPSS software. Investigations among this statistical sample showed that all indicators including genetic factors and heredity, inactivity, obesity, smoking, improper nutrition, improper lifestyle, underlying diseases, stress, gender, sleep apnea, blood pressure, sugar in this relationship are influential and based on Friedman's ranking, obesity indicators, underlying diseases and inappropriate lifestyle have the most important role among them.
