A CHARACTERIZATION OF INTERVAL-VALUED INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY SETS AND ITS APPLICATIONS

In this paper the concept of level sets for interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets is described. Then a representation of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets in terms of crisp level sets is presented. Moreover, the role of this representation in the extension principle and decision making problems is discussed
