چکیده مقاله:
In this paper, a new method for investigating internal defects of synchronous generator has been proposed. The presented technique is canonical variate analysis, which is based on Singular Value Decomposition. This method has been used for fault detection and diagnosis of synchronous generator and its protection from damages caused by defects. Due to extreme variation rate of generator faults, using this method, the system is properly trained to detect and diagnosis the faults with any intensity. In this paper we have dealt with the internal faults of the generator.
