In some recent articles, the spoofing of Phasormeasurement unit (PMU) GPS receiver has been highlighted as athreat to power grid protection system. Having spoofed PMUGPS signals, one can manipulate the measurements and injectbad data to power grid protection system. The previous antispoofing methods are all based on GPS signal analysis. Thementioned methods are just able to detect spoofing without anydata refinement. Besides, some of these methods lose theircertainty in noisy and harsh environments and some others needadditional infrastructures which may be highly cost.In this paper, a novel anti spoofing algorithm has been proposedbased on power grid infrastructures. The proposed algorithmrelies on a robust PMU placement method against spoofingattacks. The algorithm is not only able to detect PMU GPSreceiver spoofing, but also is able to refine manipulated data.
