An Automatic Solution for Unwanted Black AreaElimination in Photocopy Machines

—In this paper a method for eliminating the unwantedblack parts on the margins of the copied image from a book isproposed, reduction of which makes the image look better as wellas reducing the consumption of toner by the photocopy machinesignificantly. This method is able to reduce % 89.58 of theunwanted black parts (in average) compared to a manualmethod. Furthermore it makes %44.79 reduction in consumptionof the toner by a photocopy machine
