Introducing Virtual Power Plants and their Challenges

The penetration of distributed energy sources in thenetwork can be useful and effective only if properly managed inoperation. One of the best ways to solve this problem is tointegrate these resources. Therefore, in this paper, the issue ofvirtual power plant as one of the methods of integrating thisfunction is discussed.The purpose of this study is to introduce the virtual power plantin the electricity market to maximize profits in the exploitationof distributed energy resources. For this purpose, in this studyvirtual power plant and its challenges are outlined.
