چکیده مقاله:

This work is to propose two changes to cubic equations of state for best prediction of thermodynamic properties of crude oils. The development of these new equations of state is based on two alternative approaches. The first approach was to represent the Alpha parameter of cubic equations of state in a generalized form. In the second approach, the same parameter Alpha was changed by a procedure similar to that adopted by Soave (1993). The equations of state derived from data on the properties of n- alkanes have been effective in the prediction of thermodynamic properties of other hydrocarbon families. The application of these equations of state for mixtures and petroleum fractions has been very satisfactory compared to other equations of state of the literature.
