چکیده مقاله:
One of the key parameters of environmental pollutants in water and sewer part is COD rate of sewage outlet to the open sea water which has aharmful effect on biological and ecological structure, marine organisms and eventually human beings. South Pars Gas Complex located in Assalouyeh Special Economic Zone in South of Iran near Persian Gulf. This company consist of 5 five refinery1 and is neighboring several petrochemicals that are all inoperation now a day. To prevent direct discharge of output stream of neutralization package in wastewater treatment unitof refinery to open water which increases total effluent stream COD, in this paper several possible methods were discussed and feasibility of selectedmethod has studied for 5th refinery as a pilot in the company set. Moreover first design and calculations of proposed solution and possible enhancement of itaddressed. To ensure about the results and investigate the possibility and side effects of solar pond method which has been chosen for different expressedreasons, assessment tests were done during one whole year on an experimental package with a proposed procedure. Afterward necessary calculation have beendone based on obtained favorable results for a practical package in refinery scale for Phase 9&10 of South Pars Gas Complex2.
