چکیده مقاله:

Background: With the onset of the COVID-۱۹ pandemic at thebeginning of ۲۰۲۰, all non-essential medical treatments weresuspended, including fertility treatments. Infertility is alreadya s tressful experience. Indeed, it has been widely documentedthat the experience of infertility has a significant impact on thepsychological well-being of both partners. Even though variouss tudies have demons trated the importance of the mind-bodyconnection and fertility, the psychosocial aspects of infertilityhave not been adequately addressed. Aims of research: With thepresent s tudy, we evaluated the psychological s tatus of infertilecouples in the COVID-۱۹ Pandemic.Materials and Methods: Electronic databases (PubMed, Scopus,and ISI Web of Science) were searched to find publishedarticles on sexual health and Coronavirus until May ۲۰۲۲. Allrelevant s tudies were screened by inclusion and exclusion criteriaand compatible s tudies were chosen.Results: The occurrence of anxiety and/or depression feelingswas increased with psychological disorders in infertile couples.There was a significant decline in self-reported quality of life.Also, treatment suspensions had harmed psychological s tatus.Conclusion: Fertility treatment suspensions have had a considerablenegative impact on women’s psychological s tatus andquality of life. Psychological counseling should always be offeredespecially during this difficult period.
