چکیده مقاله:

Background: Ovarian reserve is a measure of a woman's fertilitylife. S tudies have shown that congenital uterine abnormalitiescan affect ovarian reserve. This s tudy survey Relationshipbetween Ovarian reserve markers with Congenital Anomalies.Materials and Methods: The present case-control s tudy wasperformed on ۲۲۴ women in both case and control groups from۲۰۱۶-to ۲۰۱۷ in Royan Center. The case group consis ted of ۸۱women with infertility that had intramural congenital uterineanomalies. The control group consis ted of ۱۴۳ women who hadinfertility and did not have these lesions. The sampling methodwas continuous and available. The data collection tool was aques tionnaire in two parts of individual variables. The secondpart was related to both groups' ultrasound results (number ofantral follicles and ovarian volume) and laboratory (FSH andAMH) done on the third day of the cycle. Data analysis wasperformed using SPSS software and t-tes t and a chi-square tes t.Results: The result showed that there was no s tatis tically significantdifference between the two groups in FSH (P> ۰.۰۵) butin AMH there was a s tatis tically significant difference betweenthe two groups (P<۰.۰۵). Also, the results showed that the numberof antral follicles in right ovarian, and the number of antralfollicles in the left ovarian were not s tatis tically significant betweenthe two groups (P>۰.۰۵). But the variables of the size ofuterine, echo uterine, and intramural fibroma was s tatis ticallysignificant (P<۰.۰۵).Conclusion: The results showed that uterine abnormalities withdifferent mechanisms such as changes in ovarian blood flowlead to a decrease in ovarian reserve and infertility. Therefore, treatment and surgery can reduce these effects and improve thefertility of the affected women.
