Comparison of self-esteem dimensions between female students of Savadkuh schools with narcissistic syndrome and normal

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to compare the dimensions of self-esteem in female students with narcissistic disorder and normal students. The research design of this study was causal-comparative. For this purpose, a sample of ۱۲۰ female students of Tabriz University from three colleges were selected as a statistical sample using a multi-stage random sampling method, and the participants completed the Self-Esteem Quality Assessment Questionnaire (SSES) (۱۹۹۱). The obtained data were evaluated using multivariate analysis of variance test. The results of the findings indicated that female students with narcissistic symptoms were lower than non-narcissistic girls in all subscales of self-esteem, i.e., appearance, social self-esteem, and efficiency.
