چکیده مقاله:

Today, the use of mechanisms for the exploitation ofnew energies is developing. Utilization of wind energy has alsobeen considered as one of the energy sources in recent years. Inthis research, with the aim of optimal utilization of the existingwind energy in the region, the aerodynamic design of the verticalaxis-type wind turbine has been done. One of the designchallenges is the amount of angle of installation of the airfoils ofeach blade in the desired location. For this purpose, each sectionmust be positioned so that it has the maximum aerodynamicpower as a result of its position. Due to the aerodynamiccomplexities of the flow physics around the cross-section of j-typeairfoils, such as eddy simulations within the boundary layer,computational fluid dynamics analysis has been used. As a result,the sliding mesh method is used to model the turbine rotation andthe kw-sst turbulence model is used to analyze the turbulencezone. The results, in addition to determining the installationangle required for proper wind turbine power, include acomprehensive analysis of rotor performance.
