Doping La(III) ions into BiFeO۳ nano-perovskite and investigation of their photocatalytic activities

In this work, a series of BiFeO۳ and lanthanum-doped BiFeO۳, photo-catalysts were synthesized by the co-sedimentation method and used to remove methylene blue in wastewater under UV irradiation. The samples were characterized by X‐ ray diffraction (XRD). It was confirmed that the methylene blue degradation rate increases when BiFeO۳ doped with La(III) ions.
