چکیده مقاله:

Study of physics of frost is one of the important fields in agriculture, aerospace and industrial units. In this study, initial frost embryos nucleation on a non-ideal flat surface in low and high moist air is considered. First, the surface roughness in deferent areas is determined. Then, a simple Goniometric is used to determine the advancing and receding angle of droplets in all the areas. Afterward, the contact angle is measured according to Yung contact angle and Wenzel model to measure the Gibbs free energy for choosing an appropriate refrigerator to produce enough phase change energy. After that, the plate has been placed in the refrigerator and exposed in both high moist (۹۸%) and low humid (۳%) air and the surrounding temperature is -۱۶°c.
