چکیده مقاله:

Students face many problems and difficulties in adolescence that effective coping with them requires the acquisition of special abilities and skills. In this context, problem solving skill can be used as an appropriate way to overcome the challenges and problems of life in educational systems. Therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of social problem solving skill training on social adjustment and social interactions of girl students in high school. To achieve this, a quasi-experimental research method with pre-test, post-test design with control group was used. In this regard, students were selected using multi-stage cluster sampling method and finally, ۳۰ students were selected by purposive sampling method based on the results of the standard scale of individual-social adjustment of California (۱۹۵۳) and Social interactions of Sadeghpour and Ramezannejad (۲۰۱۶) were selected. Each group consisted of ۱۵ people. Multivariate analysis of covariance with SPSS software version ۲۴ was used to analyze the data. Therapeutic intervention was performed for the experimental group for ۸ sessions of ۹۰ minutes. The results showed that social problem solving skill training has increased and improved social adjustment of female students but has not had a significant effect on social interactions (P <۰.۰۵). According to the research findings, it is suggested to pay attention to social problem solving skill training in educational systems.
