چکیده مقاله:

The process of learning English is impressionable from the learner’s native language (L۱). This effect will be more prominent at some stages in the second language (L۲) acquisition. Learning to-be verbs and understanding how to use or change the form of these kinds of verbs, based on time and tense, is an important part of English grammar. Simplification of this process or making it hard to learn can affect the accuracy and fluency of learners, at least in the first stages of learning. The current study focuses on the affection of Razi, Kurdish (Kurmanji), and Turkmen languages in the process of learning English and their effects on the process of learning to-be verbs. To find how the native language of learners can have a role in learning the English language, ۱۲۰ students of ۷th, ۸th, and ۹th grades at schools of Raz o Jargalan have participated. This study is quantitative research about the influences of L۱ on the process of learning L۲.
