The Effect of COVID-۱۹ diseases on the degree of Imam Khomeini Nurses’ Job Stress: ACase Study in Parsabad City, Ardebil

Human beings during their live have experienced lots of diseases among which the corona viruscaused lots of damages and threat their healthy. Also the appearance of COVID-۱۹ causedchanges in the world common health in some way .This study was aimed to measure the amountof stress among nurses during the COVID-۱۹ pandemic. The data were collected through anonline questionnaire of perceived stress scale developed by Cohen et.al (۱۹۸۳) and wasdistributed via WhatsApp groups created for Imam Khomeini nurses. The statistics wereorganized by means of SPSS and PorsLine programs .Data were collected through onlinequestionnaire which included Cohen's perceived stress scale. The link of the questionnaire wasshared among nurses of Parsabad Imam Khomeini hospital via WhatsApp. It took one week toall nurses to complete the questionnaire and answer the provided items. the collected data werethen analyzed and scored .Each item is responded based on a five-point Likert scale (never, little,average, much, very much). These choices are scored as ۰,۱,۲,۳ and ۴ respectively. The resultsshowed that ۴۰.۵% of the ۳۷ nurses participating in the study were male and ۵۹.۵% were female,with an average age of ۳۰.۶۸ ± ۵.۳۱ years. The average perceived stress by the nursesparticipating in this study is ۲۹.۲۴ ± ۹.۸۶, and due to the lack of a cut-off point for thisquestionnaire and based on the three-level division (state), the score of ۰-۱۸ has mild perceivedstress, ۱۹-۳۷ was considered as moderate perceived stress and above ۳۸ as high perceived stresslevel, based on this classification in the present study, the level of perceived stress in ۶۴.۹% ofnurses was evaluated as average.
