چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aim : Exosomes derived from stem cells exhibit actions similar to those ofmesenchymal stem cells, such as repairing tissue damage, inhibiting inflammatory responses, andregulating the immune system. The use of exosome does not have risks, such as aneuploidy andtransplant rejection, and can be a suitable alternative for the treatment of various diseases. Also, exosome can play a role in examining the treatment process of diseases such as cancer. Nowadays, treatment with antioxidants is a way to prevent the occurrence of cancer. Nanoparticles are amongthe substances whose antioxidant properties have been proven. Gold nanoparticles are used in drugdelivery for cancer treatment. The aim of this study was to isolate exosome derived from stemcells and use them as carriers of nanoparticles synthesized by bacteria in the treatment of breastcancer. Methods : In the present study, the capability of Micrococcus yunnanensis J۲ (isolated fromSarcheshme mine soil samples and identified by ۱۶S rDNA sequencing) for biosynthesis of goldnanoparticles (Au NPs) was evaluated. Then gold nanoparticles were prepared by HauCl۳ solutionand used for identification by electron microscope. A kit was used to prepare exosomes and finallythe effect of exosomes containing gold nanoparticles on mcf۷ cells was investigatedResults : Cytotoxic activity of exosomes containing gold nanoparticles (assisted by MTT-basedcolorimetric assay) revealed IC۵۰ (μg/mL) of ۸۸.۴±۲.۱ against cancer cell line of MCF۷.Conclusion : we propose that targeting the exosome represents a novel strategy for cancer therapy.
