چکیده مقاله:

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of most prevalent malignant gastrointestinal tumortypes worldwide and is the leading cause of tumor-associated deaths. Hsa-miR-۱۳۳a-۳p, amember of the microRNA family, has been recently studied for its tumor suppressive role invarious cancer types by targeting different related molecules. Hsa-miR-۱۳۳a-۳p has beenidentified as selective marker for human colon cancer by extensive screening of microRNApopulations. However, the clinical significanc of hsa-miR-۱۳۳a-۳p and its regulatory function onthe malignant behaviors in CRC have not been elucidated yet.Materials and Methods: Bioinformatics analysis of this study have been done by usingmiRbase , miRDB , Targetscan , miRWalk , DIANA, mirSNP databases to get required dataabout microRNA basis, validated and predicted target genes and SNPs.Results: According to hsa-miR-۱۳۳-۳p target genes, it has been revealed that TRAM۲, UBA۲,TAGLN۲, SLC۳۰A۷, SLC۶A۱, ZC۳H۱۱A, PAX۷, CNN۲ and CAPN۱۵ are considered as themost frequent genes in malignant process. Moreover, occurrence of rs۷۷۳۶۱۹۹ in MAML۱ andrs۶۷۶۰۴۳۰۱ in LDLRAP۱, two target genes, might have impact on the colon cancer progression,which in order to discover the exact role of these SNPs in colon cancer, the further analysis isneeded.Conclusion: Based on the scoring system of the bioinformatics databases and considering thebest targeting scores, the foresaid genes are suggested as the potential genes, targeting thehsamiR-۱۳۳-۳p for future researches. Considering the significant role of the hsa-miR-۱۳۳-۳pmicroRNA on Colon cancer, the predicted genes and SNP can be used as the biomarkers for theearly detection of colorectal cancer patients.
