چکیده مقاله:
Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrinedisorders in women. The pathophysiological causes of this disease and the genetic inheritancepattern of PCOS are not yet known. One of the prevalent the disease is hyperinsulinemia, leadingto increased production of androgen. Based on the studies of the genes involved in insulinproduction and function, it has been shown that insulin affects the pathogenesis ofhyperandrogenism in PCOS.Materials and Methods: In this study, the disease was induced by injecting of Estradiol valerateinto female NMRI mice for ۲۵ days and their ovarian tissue was removed. Ins۲ gene expressionchanges were evaluated by qRT-PCR technique using specific primers. The GAPDH gene wasused as internal control. Results: Analysis of qRT-PCR results was performed using GraphPad prism۸ software. TheAnalysis showed that the relative expression level of Ins۲ gene in sick mice was significantlyhigher than the control group (P <۰.۰۵).Conclusion: We indicated that Ins۲ gene expression has correlation with PCOS, so we suggestthe gene expression control maybe useful in PCOS treatment. Although it necessary to study therelationship between Ins۲ gene and PCOS in human.
