Pancreatic cancer and the effect of MALAT۱ Lnc on it and the level of expression of this Lnc

Backgrounds: In ۲۰۱۵, pancreatic cancers killed ۴۱۱,۶۰۰ people worldwide. Epigeneticalterations in non-coding RNAs, especially LncRNAs, are carcinogens. It is an LncRNA thatcauses cancerous tumors in some cancers through uncontrolled progression of the cell cycle andby increased metastasis as well as cell migration. Our purpose in this study was to investigate therole of this LncRNA in the incidence of pancreatic cancer.Materials and Methods: LncRNAdisease۱, LnRNAcdisease۲ and GEPIA ۲ databases wereused to examine this gene. In this study, the MALAT۱ LncRNA and its high association withpancreatic cancer and its expression in healthy and tumor-bearing individuals were investigated.Results: According to Disease Association Statistics, the highest score is related to MALAT۱Lnc, which has the highest score in pancreatic cancer, and also the expression of MALAT۱ Lncis higher in healthy people than in tumors.Conclusion: LncRNAs are a long non-coding RNA that contains more than ۲۰۰ nucleotides andcannot be translated into proteins and play an important role in biological processes andregulation of gene expression, especially in diseases. This study is related to the pathogenicityand strong role of this MALAT۱ LncRNA in pancreatic cancer.
