چکیده مقاله:
Backgrounds: Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women. Annexinsare calcium-binding proteins and play an important role in different tumor cells. However, therole of the Annexin family in breast cancer remains unclear.Materials and Methods: We obtained the data of differential expression and survival time ofANXA genes in BC from an online open-access database including UALCAN, GEPIA, CancerGenome Atlas (TCGA) database, cBioPortal, Metascape, and STRING.Results: The transcriptional levels of ANXA۱, ANXA۲, ANXA۳, ANXA۵, ANXA۶, ANXA۸and ANXA۱۱ were significantly reduced in breast tumor tissues, while the transcriptional levelsof ANXA۹ were significantly increased. High mRNA levels of ANXA۲, -۳, -۵, -۸ and -۱۳predicted a decrease in overall survival (OS). CCL۷ and CCL۸ were associated with decreasedrelapse free survival. Expression of ANXA۱, -۲, -۳, -۴, -۵ and -۸ was highest in TNBC. Finally,we analyzed the possible mechanisms of ANXAs in different subtypes of breast cancer throughGO and KEGG analyses and the correlation between ANXAs and immune infiltration in thetumor microenvironment. Conclusion: Taken together, our results indicate that Annexins might play important roles in BCand have the potential to be used as markers for subtype classification.
