چکیده مقاله:

Backgrounds: In recent years, the number of patients suffering from cervical cancer isincreasing and many studies have shown that non-steroidal drugs can be effective on apoptoticgenes active in cervical cancer. Conventional methods in investigating the causes of cervicalcancer are insufficient. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of cytotoxicconcentrations of ibuprofen on BAX, BCL۲ gene expression in HELA cervical cancer cells.Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, ibuprofen was purchased and measured invitro. Then, HELA cells were extracted from freezing medium and cultured in a completelysterile space. MTT tests were performed. Results: The cytotoxic effects of ibuprofen on cervical cancer cells indicate that the cytotoxicconcentration (۲ mg / ml) of ibuprofen significantly increases the expression level of BAX andanti-apoptotic BCL-۲ genes. Conclusion: The findings of this study showed that the concentration of IC۵۰ ibuprofen inducesapoptosis in cervical cancer cells.
